It's now been seven years after the 2007-2008 financial crisis - and the government still hasn't sent one executive from any one of the big banks to jail for their role in the biggest financial meltdown since the Great Depression. But that's not the case in Iceland. The Supreme Court of Iceland has just sentenced 5 bank executives to jail for the role in the meltdown that wrecked Iceland's economy back in 2008. The sentence brings the total number of bank executives sent to jail since the crisis to 26. Combined - these bankers are set to spend a total of 74 years in prison.
