REMEMBER YOUR OATH ATTENDANCE IS MANDATORY ALL ARE WELCOME BEWARB THE ONE-EYED BEAST RULES OF CONDUCT FOR A LIVE MEETING Number 1: be kind and courteous to everyone in the Hangout room and in the Live Chat. If you disagree with someone, please wait your turn and explain why you disagree with evidence or your beliefs - but do not resort to name calling, insulting, or bullying to get your point across. I’ve never had a problem with this, but it remains the number one rule. Violators will be kicked out and banned from returning. Number 2: no foul language. This is an all ages event, and although we do live in a progressive society, I want to keep our language civil. That means absolutely no cursing, slurs, or derogatory remarks of any kind. Violators will be kicked out and banned from returning. Number 3: Be mindful of your noise. Every noise you make in the room will be picked up on your mic. If you’re in a noisy room or if you’re chatting with friends in the same room that you’re on camera, it’s going to drown out everyone. If you are causing uncontrollable noise, you will be kicked out. Number 4: Don’t monopolize the conversation. I completely understand that this will be exciting, and you’ll want to talk. And you will be able to talk - I just ask that you allow others to speak their minds as well, and not steamroll over others. If I feel like you’re speaking out of turn, I will give you a warning - but if you continue to talk over people, you will be kicked out of the room. And finally Number 5: Have fun! These meetings are always a blast, and are one of the highlights of my month. If you have any cool artwork or costumes or something you’d like to share, have it ready and nearby so you don’t have to dash the other end of your house to get it.
