Two noir-ish versions of Thelonious Monk's " 'Round Midnight" by Art Pepper, and then Sonny Rollins coupled together. Pepper's rendition is from 'Art Pepper + Eleven-Modern Jazz Classics', 1959 Contemporary Records (with Marty Paich's Big Band); The Rollins is from 1964's 'Now's The Time' on RCA Victor (with Herbie Hancock & Ron Carter).
