Rob Whiteman UKBA attemps to say "No" to a UK Parliament Committee

In the past it could have possibly cost him his head, but the very modern UK Parliament flexed its muscles when an insouciant civil servant attempted to give them the run around without the legendary obfuscation. To be fair Rob Whiteman is new to the job, but he was rapidly schooled in the ways of the House when Keith Vaz MP threatened him with the powers of "Peoples and Papers," while at the same time calming his apoplectic committee members who were shouting "What?" and "Send it to us!" and "Do as you are told!" The whole thing was classic, epic and utterly British.
