Taking a ride in an old Konstal 13N tram in Warsaw. We are in the 2nd car. The 13N trams were built from polish company Konstal from 1959-1969 and are based on the Tatra T1 tramcar(therefore the similar sound like the Tatras), 845 pieces and around 170 are still in service. Although Warsaw gets more and more PESA 120N lowfloor trams for replacement there are still a lot of 13N trams in service, even at the weekends. However it is planned to replace them all until the end of 2012, so if you want to see them in service It would be good idea to visit Warsaw as soon as possible. Eine Mitfahrt in einem Konstal 13N. Die 13N basieren auf dem Tatra T1 und wurden zwischen 1959-1969 in 845 Exemplaren gebaut, fast alle für Warschau. Derzeit sind davon noch ca. 170 Stück im Einsatz, jedoch werden sie nach und nach durch neugelieferte PESA 120N ersetzt. Doch noch immer benötigt der Verkehrsbetrieb ZTM die Fahrzeuge, auch am Wochenende, so daß sie noch zum alltäglichen Bild auf Warschaus Straßen gehören. Dennoch ist es ratsam, Warschau alsbald wie möglich zu besuchen, möchte man die 13N nochmal erleben, da es geplant ist, sie bis Ende 2012 alle zu ersetzen.
