UPDATE 11-10-12 This train is currently not in operation through wood street and Allegheny station after the train derailed friday night and three people were injured, it is unknown when they will restore service. This is a retake of the subway in pittsburgh. we are riding the Subway Local from wood street to North side station. then back to wood street. The New T Plus system now serves The North Shore of Downtown Pittsburgh. In this video we go through the new gateway station and look at the new North Side station. Take a ride through the new subway tunnels with LED lights. This train even goes under the river at one point. The older tunnels have the old sodium lights in them. and are from 1985. New tunnels and stations opened in march 2012. Also in the first train it sounds like it has a new announcement voice
