Rex Tillerson welcomes Kenya's Uhuru, Odinga unity deal

US Secretary of State, Rex Tillerson has welcomed the announcement by President Uhuru Kenyatta and opposition leader Raila Odinga that the two leaders had resolved to bury their differences following last year's general elections that have plunged Kenya into a political crisis. Tillerson refused to take credit for the meeting and said the two had shown a commitment to unite the country. He however warned that Kenya should not stifle free media and a free judiciary.
