"TRADITIONAL MUSHAIRA" (RIWAYATI MUSHAIRA) - Organized by NASIM SYED (President) Canadian Urdu Writers Forum Toronto on 11th July 2009. This was a unique attempt of reviving the old fading tradition of the style of South Asian poetry reading. This was held in celebration of CANADA DAY, which happened on July 1. This was part of a conference where the topic of discussion was, "The part played by women of letters of eastern origin now, who are settled in the west and their role in the feminine perception".
