Renault Lodgy Crash Test Comparison [ INDIAN Vs European ] Version Here is the crash test comparison of lodgy, the indian version Renault lodgy was recently tested by global ncap under the campaign " SAFER CARS FOR INDIA " and it scored 0 stars and also global ncap rated it's chassis as unstable, while the European version which is the dacia lodgy managed to score 3 stars in it's crash test done by euroncap in 2012. The indian version is a base model which doesn't get airbags nor even ABS as standard, while the european version gets airbags including curtain airbags. Recently Global ncap did a crash test of two Renault kwid, one indian version and one latin america version. While the latin america model passed the test the indian made kwid failed miserably and got 0 star, infact it performed so badly the renault got called out by a higher official in the ncap for treating third world countries badly by producing unsafe cars for the sake of profit.
