READ INFO Vid 2... Remington 700 sps aac-sd .308. Shooting without and then with a muzzle brake to show effectiveness of the brake in recoil reduction and muzzle rise supression. The percieved recoil is dramatically reduced and muzzle rise is all but absent. I am using a bushnell 6-18x40 at 18x and I stay on a 3in target in scope fov at 125 yards. The brake works very well and i would highly reccomend. It is a Big Chubby from Ratworxusa.com. The brake is a little on the large side and does add weight to the front of the rifle. I think it measures at 4in total, 3in from barrel end to end of brake. I did get a poi variation after attachment, shot slightly higher on all shots. The bipod is a blackhawk bipod, and after alot of use, it will be replaced with something that has better feet and better control of pivot lever. It is either too tight or too lose, no real inbetween so the rifle either is doesnt move, pivot/traverse, or it does way too much and moves too freely. Plus the feet do not have great contact points, allowing for slipping around. The ammo i am using is some cheap steel case, 145gr wpa. The rifle does not like to extract them due to case expansion. Brass works flawlessly. As far as accuracy, the rifle holds about a .75"moa when in a rest using cheap ammo, slightly better when using 168gr premium and in a rest. I personally cannot achieve this without the use of a rest... Any question, feel free to ask All negative comments will be deleted and user will be blocked.
