Reinstalling a Door & Window Sensor

Watch to learn how to reinstall a door or window sensor. Over time it’s recommended to replace your door or window sensor. To get started you will need double sided tape, alcohol prep pad and silicone sealant. You can order a self-replacement kit from ADT or at the local hardware store. Learn how to reinstall your door sensor in three easy steps: 1. Clean the sensor and door or window area 2. Apply a double-sided tape to door or window sensor 3. Mount sensor to the area desired. 4. Test the sensor by arming your security system If your system is operating properly your system will arm. If there are any issues your system will alert you on the keypad.
