Hi Friends, Todays video we are contrasting Joshua and Rehab vs. Joshua and the Gibeonites. Key notes: Rehab feared the Lord. "For the Lord your God, he is God in the heavens above and the earth beneath." (Joshua 2:11) She responded to her circumstance with reverence for God, and in doing so, God not only spared her life but her family's life. Their legacy became freedom. She was blessed. Gibeonites feared man. "So we feared greatly for our lives because of you and did this thing." (Joshua 9:24) They took matters into their own hands and in doing so became cursed by Joshua and destined to never be anything other than a laborer. Their legacy became slavery. They were cursed.
