Regenerative medicine: an exciting new approach to stroke recovery

Finding ways to help the brain replace cells lost due to stroke -- and ensure that they function properly -- is one of the primary goals of researchers at the Heart and Stroke Foundation Centre for Stroke Recovery (HSFCSR). While research in this area is still at an early stage, the long-term potential benefit for stroke survivors is immense.
