"Refuse Fascism" Activists Protest Ahead of Trump's 2020 State of the Union

Tonight ahead of President Trump's #StateOfTheUnion address, activists led by Refuse Fascism held a protest in front of the Capitol demanding "Trump/Pence out now!" In particular, they condemned the impeachment trial as a "sham" for lacking witnesses or evidence. At about 5:30pm, police declared the area they were protesting as "closed" ahead of the State of the Union and made them leave. They marched over the the Supreme Court to finish their event, which they called "People's State of the Union."
