He literally said "Don't you know this is wrong to do this on private property!". I usually film at the outdoor portions of shopping centre roofs and it is normally "public".Obviously I know I can't film INSIDE a shopping centre because I would be a public nuisance but I was filming in a secluded open air area. I was not being a nuisance to anybody in the premise and he treated me like a criminal. The area I filmed at is a place where tourists take pictures all the time , so if they can take pictures, why can't I take my video? Is it just because tourists have money ? No matter how I think about it I do not know how my filming would negatively affect the place ... Also I feel that its common in Singapore that open areas can be used by the public for filming so it was a simple misunderstanding on my part but the guard really treated me like I was a criminal and asked me to pack my stuff immediately right in the middle of my filming ... Today was a day I really learnt that people walking into your video is the least of your problems ...
