Razlan: Many cried when they called to donate to Najib

Chairperson of the Najib solidarity secretariat, Razlan Rafii said many donors cried on the phone when they called him. The total amount donated to a legal fund for former premier Najib Abdul Razak has reached RM230,000, according to Razlan. The fund was initiated by a group of supporters led by Razlan, who is also former Federal Territories Umno Youth chief. Razlan said the fund was in response to Najib being unable to pay the full amount of his bail. On Wednesday, Najib claimed trial to three counts of criminal breach of trust and one count of abuse of power, in relation to transactions involving SRC International Sdn Bhd, a former subsidiary of 1MDB.
