Journey of Ravana Making through lens Every year thousands of effigies of legend Ravana are created by these artists in Titarpur making it Asia's largest effigy market. The culture of making these effigies is epic in itself. These effigy artists migrate from different parts of India to Titarpur for a period to make these huge magnificent effigies May be Ravana is Villian for everyone but it is not less than Hero for these effigy artists. The topic has been chosen for my M.Phil Research work. These pictures are part of my thesis.
