On a cool Tuesday afternoon/evening, I went towards Augusta, GA to catch NS 192 with the Reading heritage unit leading the train from Macon, GA to Linwood, NC (after missing it in Millen). I managed to catch the train between Nixon and Augusta Yards as the Georgia Division crew finishes their trip from Macon. I then stick around downtown to watch it go over 6th Street as it switches in the yard and waiting for the Piedmont crew to take it north to Columbia, SC. In the meantime, I see CSX Q198 pulling into town with three YN2 AC44s and a ES44AC leading a big train and NS P70 going down 6th into the yard with a ex-Conrail SD40-2 pulling a short train. At 7:30pm, NS 192 pulls out of Augusta northbound over 6th Street.
