This video is mostly a recording of radio transmissions picked up by scanner on February 24, 2013 in Agency, Iowa. The transmissions are between the conductor of a BNSF coal train and Mechanical in Fort Worth, Texas trying to fix a problem with the second engine. This started when the second engine had "zero tractive effort." The coal train is currently heading east up Agency Hill between Ottumwa and Agency. This grade slows coal loads down to a near crawl when their engines are working. The last thing heard in the first part is setting a timer for three minutes. Those three minutes are what the train needed to reach Agency, as the train appears at 4:49. The conductor can be seen in the cab of the second unit if you look closely enough. There is some more radio chatter after the engines pass. The video ends showing the coal train meeting a mixed freight train east of town. The two crews are heard talking to each other. You can watch the video of the mixed freight here: http://youtu.be/FuEKQNyN_YQ. Engines: BNSF 9318 EMD SD70ACe BNSF 8971 EMD SD70MAC BNSF 5773 GE ES44AC BNSF 9070 EMD SD70ACe
