Quick Overview of the Homemade Wooden Lathe Duplicator

In this video, I cover the various designs I had used to build a duplicator for my Powermatic Model 90 Lathe. My first design had three axises that would allow for movement of a router in all directions. This design ended up having to much 'slop' between the joints and I ended up scrapping the idea. My next design used one of the original carriage units and used two pivots to give me adjustability with the location of the router. This also ended up having to much 'slop' and I ended up scrapping the idea too. If anyone has any ideas, I ask you to comment them. Please be sure to check out my other pages!
