ROASTED GARLIC POWDER - 1 - 2 TEASPOONS 3. CAYENNE PEPPER - 1 -2 TEASPOONS 4. RED PEPPER FLAKES - 1 TEASPOON 5. PARSLEY FLAKES - 2 TEASPOONS 6. MINCED GARLIC - ( FRESH OR IN A JAR ) - 2 - 3 TABLESPOONS 7. OLD BAY SEASONING - 1 - 2 TEASPOONS 8. SMOKED SWEET PAPRIKA - 1 - 2 TEASPOONS 9. PRUDHOMME'S MAGIC SEAFOOD SEASONING BLENDS - 1 - 2 TEASPOONS 10. LEMON JUICE - THE JUICE OF 2 MEDIUM LEMONS 11. BUTTER - 1 - 2 TEASPOONS 12. 1 - 1 LB BOX OF THIN SPAGHETTI 13. OLIVE OIL - 1/4 TO 1/2 CUP COOKING INSTRUCTIONS 1. Cook pasta according to the package instructions. Set aside. 2. CLEANING THE SHRIMP 1. Check the shrimp color , smell & any unusual spots or marks. If found , please discard. 2. Peel & remove the shell. 3. Check the back of the shrimp for a black vein. If found, discard & rinse the shrimp with cold water. Set aside. COOKING THE SHRIMP 1. Heat a skillet on medium high heat. Add the olive oil. 2. Add the minced garlic & the red pepper flakes. Sauté for 1 to 2 minutes. ** Do not burn the garlic. If it does you will have to discard it & start over. ** 3. Add the shrimp. Season with the cayenne pepper, Old Bay seasoning, Prudhomme's Seafood Seasoning , roasted garlic powder, smoked sweet paprika. Stir quickly until the shrimp is well coated with the seasonings. 4. Add the parsley flakes & lemon juice . ( the juice squeezed from both lemons. ) 5. Add the butter. Work quickly & do not over cook the shrimp. The shrimp is done when it is no longer pale in color. 6. Cut off the heat . Add the pasta & stir until the pasta is well coated with the garlic olive oil sauce. 7. Plate the Spicy Garlic Shrimp & Pasta in a bowl or platter. Serve with a salad & garlic bread. Enjoy ; - ) ; - )
