There's also a cover that i took off to show the gears. When i split big logs, i add 4 inches of wood between the screw and the table and put the logs standing up right, and for small one ( 10 inches and smaller ) , i let the logs go against the table with enought space so that the log doesn't sqeeze ( see videos ) and it's also much faster.
