Protecting Humans & Animals: Combating Antibiotic Resistance

Antibiotic resistance, when germs no longer respond to the drugs designed to kill them, is a One Health problem that can affect humans, animals, and the environment—we are all connected. Any antibiotic use can contribute to antibiotic resistance. This video showcases CDC partners working to improve how antibiotics are used in pets and the pet industry to help slow the development and spread of antibiotic-resistant germs, and protect the health of both humans and animals.
