Prince Charles visits the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin

On May 30, in the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians received Charles The Prince of Wales, who was on a private visit to Armenia, as a guest of the "Yerevan My Love" Charitable Foundation. The Catholicos and Prince Charles toured the Mother See, visiting the museums where the Royal guest became familiarized with Armenian cultural heritage that has been preserved by the church. The Prince of Wales visited the Vache and Tamar Manoukian Matenadaran where a reception was organized in honor of the Royal guest. Մայիսի 30-ին, Մայր Աթոռ Սուրբ Էջմիածնում Գարեգին Բ. Ամենայն Հայոց Կաթողիկոսն ընդունեց Ուելսի արքայազն Չարլզին, ով Հայաստանում է գտնվում «Երևան իմ սեր» բարեգործական հիմնադրամի հրավերով: Ամենայն Հայոց Կաթողիկոսը և արքայազն Չարլզը շրջեցին Մայր Աթոռի տարածքում, այցելեցին Մայր Տաճարի թանգարաններ, ուր Ուելսի արքայազնը ծանոթացավ Հայ Եկեղեցու կողմից պահպանվող հոգևոր և մշակութային արժեքներին: Ուելսի արքայազն Չարլզն եղավ նաև «Վաչե և Թամար Մանուկյան» մատենադարանում, ուր ի պատիվ արքայազնի, տեղի ունեցավ ընդունելություն:
