A large crowd of men allegedly gatecrashed a college festival, 'Reverie' on February 6 and molested female students in Delhi’s Gargi College. Allegedly little or nothing was done by the security personnel to prevent unruly men from entering the campus. Students have also shared pictures showing men clambering over the walls and entering the campus. Speaking to NDTV, students from the college said that alcohol was openly consumed and several men were smoking while the event was on. Why did the college administration not immediately take action or appeal to the police to control the situation? Were complaints by students given little regard before the matter got highlighted by the media? Are assaults on college students by unidentified goons the new norm? We ask on Prime Time.
