Preparing for Hurricane Florence - The Shifting Storm Track

Preparing for Hurricane Florence - The Shifting Storm TrackУ вашего броузера проблема в совместимости с HTML5
Hurricane Florence has shifted once again, this time to our southwest. The hurricane has shifted paths numerous times over the past several days, however North Carolina residents should still be prepared for the worst. Remember Hurricane Matthew? Hurricane Matthew made landfall substantially further south as a Category 1 Hurricane and was significantly smaller in size than Florence. Florence's flooding impact on North Carolina can potentially be 3 times that of Matthew. Due to the current models, we are still expecting to be out of power for a significant period of time and expect severe flooding in our area. We won't truly know the path of Florence until later in the day on Thursday. The low pressure in the gulf and high pressure to the north are steering Florence and have their own vulnerability to variables effecting their strength.
