Praying Mantis eats a still living lizard

I found this curious scene on a night expedition in a region of rainforest located in Brazil. Is not common to find a mantis devouring a lizard, I was impressed how can a insect prey a reptile, is something amazing to behold. After a few minutes filming and photographing the scene, the mantis dropped the remains of the lizard and jumped on vegetation. This is the law of nature, the strongest survives! SONG DETAILS: - Moonlight Sonata by Beethoven Português (Brasil): Encontrei esta cena inusitada enquanto fazia uma expedição noturna em uma área de Mata Atlântica, procurava por alguns insetos para fotografar quando me deparei com este louva-a-deus devorando o pequeno lagarto, por alguns minutos resolvi fazer alguns vídeos e entre uma tomada e outra, clicava algumas fotos. Após cerca de 10 minutos o louva-a-deus dispersou a carcaça da lagartixa e saltou em direção a vegetação. É a lei da natureza, a sobrevivência do mais forte!
