Power your TV from 18650 batteries

I finally did an experiment to find out if I can run my TV on 18650 batteries and a DC to AC inverter. I used four 18650 batteries, taken from cheap ($3) powerbanks. I made a simple battery holder out of PVC and bolts to put the batteries in series, resulting in a fully charged voltage of 16.8V. I connected a 300 WATT DC/AC inverter that's usually used inside vehicles. That steps my 16.8V DC up to 220V AC, allowing me to power a TV, Fan and other AC appliances. Run time is limited by the capacity of the batteries, but it's a fun project none the less.
