Gujarat has transformed itself as the maritime gateway of India. Shri Narendra Modi's vision for Ports is: "Our progress and development is not just limited to ports. Our vision is for port led development with port based Special Economic Zones, warehouses, cold storage networks, railroad connectivity and related infrastructure facilities being established".
