Pope: A narrow door, but a door that’s always open

"Strive to enter through the narrow door; for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter, but they will not succeed.” The Gospel reading from the Sunday Liturgy appears as one of the “hard sayings” from the Scriptures. However, explaining the passage during his weekly Angelus address, Pope Francis assured people that Christ’s answer to the question about salvation is “not a question of numbers,” of how many people will be saved.
