Marek Weber was born 1888 in Lemberg (Lwow), Poland, during the Austro-Hungarian Monarchy. He was from a Jewish Polish/Romanian family who came from Czernowitz in Bukowina and Eastern Galicia in Poland. 1914-1933 Marek Weber was the maestro at Hotel Adlon in Berlin. During 1920'ies and early 1930'ies Marek Weber was one of the most beloved band leaders in Berlin. 1933 Marek Weber emmigrated to USA where he died 1963.
