Attempting suicide is one thing that many people would not consider under any circumstances. Yet many pedestrians consciously flirt with death by dangerously dashing across busy highways. Despite efforts to help pedestrians cross the road safely by erecting footbridges and providing for zebra crossings, many casualties are still falling to speeding vehicles.
