On the 21st of September 2017, a group of trainers from the NE Philly Raids Pokemon Go group came together at a Starbucks Gym in Pokemon Go to participate in an EX Raid for none other.. then the legendary Pokemon - Mewtwo. In order to participate in an EX Raid you must have participated in a raid at the location where an EX Raid will occur at, and defeat the raid boss.
