PLEX Media Server Review - What is Plex?

"What is Plex?" That was the question I asked myself when I first saw the service. However here is my review on the Plex Media Server application which will essentially allow you to stream any content to another device in your house with ease, and the benefits of this start to really be realised when using a tablet or smartphone (i.e. something that doesn't have much storage). For me personally I found that having the plex service installed on my NAS which is basically on 24 hours a day allowed me to essentially have a mobile juke box with my smartphone as well as having a mobile dvd collection. The software is also really easy to use and installation was a breeze, if anything though I would like Plex to take some of the ambiguity out of what it is exactly and tell people straight away how it can benefit them (as I found myself confused at first).
