Planetside 2 is a first-person online massive multiplayer game that consists of squads and faction-based gameplay. There are three factions in the game. The Terran Republic. The New Conglomerate. The Vanu Sovereignty. There are multiple maps which are called continents in-game. The continents are Indar, Esamir, Hossin, and Amerish. Each continent has a specific type of environment and climate. For example, Indar is a desert biome, while Esamir is more of an icy, arctic-like landscape. There are multiple classes in the game such as light assault, heavy assault, engineer, medic and even mechanical robots by the name of MAX's. You decide how you play, what guns to use and where you want to station yourself. The best part?
