Philips Lighting Project - Solar LED street lighting for rural areas,Shahabad,Uttar Pradesh

Shahabad is a town and a municipal board in Hardoi district, Uttar Pradesh. This area was experiencing erratic electricity supply due to which municipal council wanted to explore alternative lighting sources for meeting the lighting needs of people. Philips lighting team demonstrated the superior features and benefits of Solar LED street lights through pilot installation. Based on the benefits seen during the pilot phase, customer selected Philips Solar LED street lights for installation at various areas within this town. This was done after thorough evaluation including after trying various competition products.
