Philippines: Convicts called to testify against anti-Duterte senator in drug probe

Convicted drug dealers testified they paid former justice secretary Leila de Lima in return for favours. The hearing was held one day after she was removed from a senate commission investigating extrajudicial killings in President Rodrigo Duterte’s “war on drugs”. Duterte's campaign has killed at least 3,000 people in the past 3 months.
