There was something about this melody that made me wanna play it on guitar, and it was weird because when I actually sat down to write it out, it wasn't actually how I remembered the melody going. It ended up being tricky to get the different rhythms right each time and remember how each section went since they were so similar. I also realized half way through that, well, halfway through is just kind of a bass solo section. I decided instead of doing a big key change or chorus solo or something that I usually do, I decided to take a more jazz structure and just treat the A section as a solo section for the bass and lead guitar to solo. I really wanted to bust out all of my favorite licks on this one so I apologize if the solo gets perhaps a bit too shreddy, I just couldn't help myself! Hope you enjoy!
