People in Alaska still wear perms. The state is so vast that people have to have easy to style hair. After perming, hair holds curling with a hot iron better. This show starts 4 years ago with a client who had cooked her hair off. I told her no color and no perming for a year. After she listened, we did a perm. Then we did some color.
