After Penny McLean joined Silver Convention in 1975 and was successful with her own single Lady Bump as well, she released three solo albums, Lady Bump (1975), Penny (1977) and Midnight Explosion (1978). In 1979 she submitted the song Tut-Ench-Amun for the Luxembourg pre-selection for Eurovision but was ultimately not chosen. In 1980 she released the chanson-like Love Is Love, produced by Ramona Wulf's husband Horst Hornung. After that her contract with Jupiter Records ended. Three more singles appeared: Words (a cover of the F.R. David hit) on Philips, 1982; Wenn die Träume Flügel kriegen (When Dreams Get Wings), produced by a yet unknown Dieter Bohlen on RCA, 1982; and a final single Don't Ever Leave Me Now in 1985 before fully retiring from the music business to focus on her career as an esoteric author. These days she does the occasional Lady Bump performance and Silver Convention reunions for nostalgia shows on TV. https://www.facebook.com/PennyMcLeansingeresotericauthor/
