Peace Corps Armenia: Alaverdi Copper Factory

Read/View more at http://www.brettandlaura.com. It's big and it's ugly. The Alaverdi Copper Factory is a site for sore eyes, but a source of income for many in the town. Of course, most of the money leaves the country and everyone is stuck with health and environmental issues to deal with. We lived in this area while we were Peace Corps volunteers in Alaverdi, Armenia. This was filmed June 2005.
