Premiere Airdate: October 13, 2011 Students from Kealakehe High School on Hawaii Island hosts this episode, and present stories from across the state. Waianae High School students on Oahu show how recent pay cuts have affected the lives of husband-and-wife teachers and their sons. On Maui, H.P. Baldwin High School students report on the hive beetle that is threatening honey bees and ultimately, the state’s environment. Other participating schools for this episode are: Waiakea High (Hawaii), Wheeler Middle (Oahu), Roosevelt High (Oahu), Molokai High (Molokai), Lahaina Intermediate (Maui) and Kea’au High (Hawaii).
