Build Updates:
3.9 Changes:
- Added a new leveling gear section and a new leveling tree! The item set can be changed using a drop down menu right above weapon 1. The leveling tree can be changed using a drop down menu just to the right of the Patreon button when viewing the tree!
- When running this as a league starter you will want to pick up the first node of life/mana leech.
- We completely dropped vulnerability+blasphemy due to high difficult of getting the Impresence amulet this league! As a result I picked up the curse on our ring! The modifier is "Curse Enemies with Level 5/8 Vulnerability on Hit".
- Vaal Molten Shell has been added to our Cast When Damage Taken setup! The regular Molten Shell will be cast automatically when you take enough damage. Use the Vaal portion actively during boss fights or other intense encounters. Try to time it's usage towards the end of Molten Shells automatic cast or within its four second cooldown after its effect expires. This seems to prevent the automatic cast from overwriting the more powerful Vaal Molten Shell cast.
- Maim has been added as a link to Flesh and Stone. This causes nearby maimed enemies to take increased physical damage. Some changes were made to accommodate this addition.
- You'll want to temporarily drop Dread Banner or run a mana potion until you can pick up a Soul Taker!
- If you drop Dread Banner and are fully running Impales pick up the unused node of Swift Skewering until Dread Banner is added back into the build.
- Use any relevant Awakened Support gems you can get your hands on!
- Kaom's Roots provides us with immunity to freeze and chill! Before you pick them up you can temporarily allocate Unwavering Stance!
- Various changes were made to the build to accomodate the future scarcity of elder/shaper items. Notably we lost reasonable access to the Impresence Amulet.
- Swtiched Impresence out for a rare amulet.
- Removed the Blasphemy-Vulnerability setup from the build. Without Impresence our mana reservation was too high and something had to go. In it's place I've picked up a rare ring that features the mod "curse enemies with level 5 vulnerability on hit".
- Watcher's Eye was dropped due to probable scarcity.
- Our 'supported by level 1 maim' high life chestpieces were killed off. This is unfortunate to say the least but the build will survive. Thus I have switched it out for an alternative. You can go a lot of routes here including Carcass Jack, Belly of the Beast, Perfect Form or even still use a rare chestpiece!
- Enemies have received a buff to their armour levels, this is mostly concerning in regards to our impale damage. However Impale Support "Now grants supported skills -30% to Total Physical damage Reduction against Impale Hits at all gem levels". We are also granted bonuses on this same stat from both Swift Skewering and Forceful Skewering. This heavily accounts for much of the buff that enemy armour received.
- Please keep in mind that our DPS shown here does not include any Impale damage whatsoever!
3.8 Changes:
- I included the wrong recipe for Discipline and Training, it actually costs Silver/Silver/Black around 110 chaos. I apologize for the mix up. If that costs too much for your budget but still want some defense, try out Juggernaut for a Amber/Teal/Opalescent around 20 chaos.
- If you choose to run Kaom's Roots we gain no benefit from blinding our enemies, as we can't evade any attacks.
