Do you believe that every life in the city of Fresno matters? I do . As people of faith, we know that all people are created in the image of God and that every life has inherent worth and dignity. We are facing some immense challenges - the nation's highest concentration of poverty, a 20 year difference in life expectancy between North and South Fresno, and California's most toxic neighborhoods. As people of faith we have a moral and spiritual imperative to care for those who suffer. We believe now is the time for a new, prophetic vision of Fresno that honors the worth and dignity of every person in our community.
