Passmark PerformanceTest | AMD Ryzen 3 1200 3.87Ghz vs Intel Core i3-8100

Here I show the results of my budget gaming pc and how it compares against the competition Intel Core i3-8100. The Ryzen 3 1200 @ 3.87Ghz is faster than the i3-8100 for $37 USD cheaper, if you're comfortable with overclocking, and almost as fast as the Ryzen 5 1400 ($165) which has 8 threads instead of 4 on the Ryzen 3. It is even faster in these tests against the more expensive Ryzen 3 1300X for $20 cheaper, if you're comfortable with overclocking, and equally as fast as the more expensive Ryzen 3 Pro 1300 for $20 cheaper, if you're comfortable with overclocking.
