Greetings: In this video I am working a Double Bed Tuck Stitch on a PASSAP Duomatic 80 Knitting Machine. This video was prepared in response to a question on the Passap Group on Ravelry.com from a member who was having trouble working this stitch technique. For more information on home knitting machines please visit my free information blog www.superbaknitting.com and www.signatureyarns.com. The Motor is the Electra 3000A and I am using the Foot Control to run the motor, stopping every 4 rows to change the settings on the knitting machine carriages. The sample yarn is On Your Toes sock yarn by Kertzer. This Tuck Stitch requires Orange Strippers plus a Cast On Comb + Weights to knit this thickness of yarn using this technique using Stitch Size 7. Rows 1-4: The Back Bed is set to Knit (N) and the Front Bed is set to Tuck (AX) with select Pushers in Working Position . Rows 5-8: The settings are reversed; The Back Bed is set to Tuck (AX) but with no Pushers in working position and the Front Bed is set to Knit (N) . Thank you. Patrick.
