It displays various tanks, armoured vehicles and anti-tank guns used by the Finnish Defence Forces throughout its history. A few kilometers away from the museum is also the Armoured Brigade. The museum was opened since June 18, 1961.The Tank Museum is a military historical museum with the main task to gather, save, investigate and exhibit the history of the Finnish armoured and anti-tank defence troops The museum is not so far from the Parola Train Station, ask local the direction to walk to there, it take around 25 mins walk. A very good local drove me there from a village near by the Parola Train Station, local people are friendly and helpful.
