"My inspiration for this collection was the paper dolls we used to have in childhood. Those dolls were full of glamour from the front and very rough on the back. That is why I have used so many details silk, crystals chiffon to decorate the front while the back is decorated with leather, zippers and is more rough."

Children's paper dolls were one of the main themes behind the catwalk fashions at Georgia Fashion week.
Old Tbilisi provided a majestic backdrop for the second ever such event in the country, with the designers hoping it will bring Paris, Milan and New York to their doorstep.
STORYLINE:
The bridge in Tbilisi's picturesque old city transformed into a catwalk for Georgia's second ever Fashion week.
Some of Georgia's finest designers showed off their Spring Summer collections including the country's most famous fashion guru, Avtandil Tskvitinidze.
"This event has tremendous significance for the Georgian fashion industry because Georgian designers for the second time already have the opportunity to show their designs to foreign critics and open windows onto Europe," says organiser, Maka Metreveli.
Tskvitinidze's collection for next spring is a melange of silk and chiffon in nude, white, silver and grey accented with oversized necklaces and ankle boots .
"My inspiration for this collection was the paper dolls we used to have in childhood. Those dolls were full of glamour from the front and very rough on the back. That is why I have used so many details silk, crystals chiffon to decorate the front while the back is decorated with leather, zippers and is more rough," he says.
