SOUNDBITE (Urdu) Afsar Awan, Police Officer: "The Pakistan Maritime Security Agency has captured 29 Indian fishermen and five boats who were violating Pakistan's territorial integrity by fishing in our waters. We have arrested them and they have been handed over to this police station. A case has been registered against them in accordance to the Foreigners Act and Fisheries Act, they will be produced in the court tomorrow morning." 6. Hands of Indian fishermen holding bars of cell STORYLINE: Pakistan's Maritime Security Agency (MSA) has arrested 29 Indian fishermen and seized five fishing boats for allegedly violating its territorial waters, a Pakistani police officer said. The fishermen were brought to the southern port city of Karachi and handed over to the police on Thursday. They are due to appear in court on Friday, said Afsar Awan, a police officer at Docks Police Station, Karachi. Pakistani and Indian fishermen who ply the waters off the two countries' coasts are often arrested for allegedly violating territorial waters.
