Paintball vs GoPro

I was practicing paintball with a teammate using a GoPro HD Hero camera mounted on my barrel with a roll bar mount to film our practice. I was hit with a shot on the power/mode button, and I continued the practice. When I washed the case I saw that the Status LCD screen was cracked. The hit caused no damage, not even a scratch on the GoPro case, and the only damage sustained was on the Status LCD screen. We were playing with regular paintballs, and our paintball markers speed were set to 300 feet per seconds, which is the sport's standard speed. I guess the distance between the two players during the practice was around five meters. The camera just kept recording with the usual awesome performance. I am still able to use the camera with the LCD backpack. If GoPro wants I can send GoPro the camera, so the company can analyze what happened and improve the quality of GoPro products.
